What changes occurred that might have caused this? What type of error are you getting? Are you posting from another computer? What OS are you using?

Using Windows Vista SP2,My computer works fine.Trouble started after downloading Bit Defender Internet Security 2010. Also Windows Update wont work. I get message connection reset.Connection to server reset while page was loading

Try going to a restore point before you installed Bit Defender. Since that was the last addition before the problem started we must consider that a conflict with the program may be the cause. If you have no such restore point just try to uninstall Bit Defender.

Disable the BitDefender firewall and use the Windows Firewall - I am quite certain that it is the cause of your issues. -steve

Uninstall Bit Defender and see if your ability to download returns. Also check Windows Updates to make sure it is working.
